Here’s the latest in the second division games, away from Chester-le-Street:
Northants continue to pile on the runs at Cardiff and will need to continue to do so after their Glamorgan hosts racked up 570-8 declared.
The visitors are 267-0 with Ricardo Vasconcelos on 144 and Rob Newton on 92.
We could be in for a close contest at Bristol, where Gloucestershire are 214-5 against Derbyshire.
They trail by 77.
Leicestershire are struggling a little at home to Worcestershire, where they’re 200-5 and trailing by 353.
Lancashire continue to build their lead against Middlesex at Lord’s where they’re 289-4 and 24 ahead.
