Does the West have blood on its hands in Yemen?

Four years of war in Yemen have killed thousands of people and created what the United Nations says is the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

New evidence is linking some of those deaths to weapons made in the West.

A leaked French military report says arms sold to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) may have been used against civilians.

Investigative journalists analysed the classified document, which contradicted public claims from France and the United States that their weapons were only used for defensive purposes and not on the front line.

Many nations, including France, are part of a UN treaty banning the sale of weapons that aid human rights violations and war crimes.

Is the international community turning a blind eye?
